Skip Replays?

I don't know if this is a dumb question or not but is there a button to skip the replay when you join a multi-player game that's been going on for a while? We were at turn 14 when someone disconnected and when he rejoined he was forced to watch the replay and we all had to wait ... Two of the players left because of that (We would have won anyway ^.^ ) but we didn't get to finish the game ... soooo ... how do you skip the replay?

Oh yeah, he came on under a different name because of the d/c the server seemed to think he was still in the game or something (just unable to move) so it wouldn't let him back on under his original name ...

in the lobby, there is a checkbox to have replays played at max speed

But still max speed replays can take some time. The only way to 'skip' any replay is to save and reload the game.
