Whoever made the giggling zerker

Post by Jozrael »

I love you.

Seriously, it just made my day when my zerker attacked an adept, and beforehand, he snickered evilly.

Btw, he hit 8 times in a row: when the enemy has no countering attack is this hardcoded in to speed things up or did I just waste a crapton of luck? :x

Its my favorite sound as well, but I think it isn't exactly a giggle, I just cant think of the right word for it atm. I wonder if anyone has ever had the bezerk ability fail on them by going the 30 rounds without killing the other guy. That would be horrid luck.

Uh oh, looks like Jetryl has some killin' to do...

{edit: quote removed, due to excessive sillyness on my part}

No, seriously though. Congrats to zookeeper for placing some fine touches on our units' wml code. And I will let my friend know that his dwarf voice was a success. It's a shame the other dwarf sounds he recorded were clipping due to the poor microphone quality.

The first time I heard it I had a major "WTF???" air, and I controlled every corner of my darkened room (it was late evening). Then, since my berserker killed and leveled up at the same time, I laughed with him, too! :lol2:

I did once, I used debug to make a 10,000 hp adept then set a berserker on him to see what would happen, the adept lost a few hundred or so health but I don't think this counts :wink:

It was luck, he strikes just like other units. As has been said though, the berserk combat goes for 30 rounds, so the adept has a (infinite small) chance to survive :wink: .
