Congratulations to you two on both your final portraits, they both look much much better. The original still looks slightly better, but I don't think that can be helped.

You still have "orphan" pixels between the flats and linework. Optimally, the flats should be on a layer below the lineart layer, and extending at least one pixel under the lines. When you have the area of a flat as a selection, you can expand it (in GIMP it's Select -> Grow).

Looks finished and good enough for me. No antomical flaws and good coloring.

You might want to use the original color scheme for her. Look at her sprite.

I like it. Less lustful, but more... perky :)

I'll use it in my campaign, if you don't mind (surely not, or you wouldn't be posting in this forum ;).

Any progress so far? I like to see something. Even half finished would do. :)

This is my first try at coloring. Hope you like it!

Any tips how to make shadows?

The idea seems fair but it *might* go against the several laws of Wesnoth canon, maybe some senior art department leader could comment to you about that.

Skin colouring looks good though despite the green mist on her shoulder, and the pink ribbon should be green or the same colour as what she's wearing because I think it detracts from the character (elves=green). Also you *could* throw some diversity with the roses if you wanted too but otherwise they need work. I say just stick to making the hair blonde/lighter as the norm with other elves, fix it up a bit, if you want to slightly move the ear up a bit and it's good to go.

A green tint could work, IMO, but the green you have chosen is an unnatural lime green. It would probably be quite hard to find a natural green that blends well with blonde.

P.S. It's a shame the sprite is blonde 'cos she looks awesome as a redhead. Perhaps that portrait could be used for a particular character in a campaign? (That would look funny if the picture is also chosen to represent the generic unit, though).
