Great stuff!

BTW, it would be cool if you could add "So far you have reached level x of this dungeon" to Darkwood. I have no idea how far into it I've reached

new smaller update with the following changes:
(the name is a pun, just see general hints)

fixes:

- abilities given by relic weapons did not disappear
-- usually weapons don't give abilities
(this affected Hameln, Tyrfing, Gungir, Drill)

- selecting the option "Collect all loot at once" caused the game to double some of the random loot
-- it was an intended drawback of this option, now this options just works on lootable material and no longer on random loot

- unequipping one handed relic weapons did not removed the attacks
(really wondering about this one)

- selling owls on the animal market showed the wrong picture

changes:

- corrected some typos and unnecessary words
- your level will no longer increase the number of encounters during free work
- slightly improved (bloated) code to ensure that luck has a positive effect
- building now have a 50% to fail producing products, increased by luck
- this is to compensate for no other negative effects of building
(later i will add building raids + options to deactive them, just in case)
- made hide and show elements in the inventory smaller
- inside the house: changed label return to Leave, Return is misguiding

new features:

- added options to Tutorial to review all kinds of consumables
- aborted missions will now show in the statistic
- 50 aborted missions will now give you the Loudmouth achievement with a neat reward
- added FAQ and Help to the house providing some hints provided by Spannerbag
- added some additional faq questions
- Spannerbag receives a statue inside the hall of statues (Dwarvish Engineer)
- healscroll can be used inside the consumables as additional healing item
- added "Update Relics!" options to the doc, in case you have old saved game, in which they did not exist or when new relics were added.
- you can adopt a raven in the dark mill,
- it is a pet that provides 100 karma when used as pet, however locking this fine bird in again, will reduce your karma
- temples of the twilight gods now allow to adopt a variety of different animals for karma (just a tiny little detail)

Please note: if you have a saved game. In order to see the new options inside the helpmenu / Heromenu, you must visist the doc in Capital City and use the option "Repair Heromenu!".

What is a Monk's Handbook and a Thief's Handbook? I picked up a few, but nothing shows in the consumables.

Monks Handbook will give you bareskin armor - usually fighting without an armor, with high defense - so to say. It is usually unlocked by dexterity as a perk.
(maybe I will make this perk somewhat stronger if you can get this skill that way :hmm ).

Handbook of Stealing gives you the steal attack and Handbook of Pickpocketing obviously the pickpocket attack.I think these are the only drops, where I used some creative names. Note that some tomes and books can just be used by your mercs or npcs to learn skills.

I see! Once more it is really important to have a way to view all items we have in the inventory, consumables, melee and ranged weapons, armors and equipment, with what they do WITHOUT having to unequip every single item to test. It is really the only quality of life issue in this great add-on! :D

I recently had some time and i played my fav. expansion :D

Idk if this came up. But if you play RPG Mode without the mission, it is impossible to travel to the orcs without TP-Scroll. You cant build the bridge, there is a dialogue option but you cant deliver the stones. Its not that important since Tp's are easy to come by, i didnt even notice it first.

There is a little bug, if i transform into an angel and lvl up it is much faster since i only need 900 Exp when my main character needs 20.000+ Exp. However when the angel lvls up, the main character lvls up. Maybe this goes even with the rabbit ec. which can lead to exploit if you have big stamina and fish or sth  .

There is an issue with arena mode in orc land: the deep waters, i would delete them out of the map, since monsters go inside/spawn of it and dont/cant move out if they face a strong hero , also i cant loot in deep water.

Another Bug i noticed. In Mainland up in the north is an iron-mill. If you enter it and produce iron inside of it, it says it produces "diamonds" instead "iron". Just some little bugs.

Isnt it time for an add on :P ? Some additional missions ;)

Hi John,

thanks for playing and enjoying the campaign.

The bridge thing came up. Hm, I will change that the bridge is constructed in RPG.

The exploit transformation: Your interaction is somehow limited with transformed characters. First of all you can not perform most action and can't enter most places. Also the level of the transformed monsters might reduce the number of received experience per kill, as it has a higher unit level. Last time I checked it, I did not receive any points or level up, just increased the number of hitpoints like a normal amla character.

The arena issue - as you have so many spells and possibilities I never thought that is an issue. I overworked the arena now, so all monsters can escape to a another spot outside the deep water.

Thanks for the iron bug, I probably took the code from the diamond mine and forgot to change the description.

About additional missions: it will take a while. While I announced the 1.17. Schatten arc a while ago, which will than continue the story of John and its legacy and will add new story missions, I needed some mechanics that are now added to the game. I needed the mechanic for relics to this. This, real life and unfortunately some creative ideas delayed the whole process. I had also planned boss fight missions, which is kind of a duel, as well as necromancer missions - which require you to take out a necromancer in a hideout dungeon. I also wanted to add a new scarecrow mission, where the scarecrow appears when camping. I somehow missed the chance to add it to the Halloween err I mean Ascension update. I'm currently stressed out and working on an improvement and bug fixes for Five Fates adding ingame achievements.

Every dungeon receives one specific unique point of interest. This is a point of interest and its called 'Scarejump'. I wanted to add some spice to the random dungeon, so it can happen that giant monsters appear, aside from the titans. The scarejump randomly shows a different giant monster emerging from the mud. I also wanted to add some giant statue like a Bastet, Sphinx or Kali depending on the region and dungeon. An enormous tree would also look good in the wood.

I see! That's a great idea actually! However, this is just an image, there's no hex to fight...

You can't fight them. Its just decoration. You can't fight the image, after all you are not the Paintress.

I tried playing as the scholar. I got tons of gold with desk + paper + ink. Somehow I lost my desk, but was able to build it again. I'm not sure I played the game right.

Hi cupcakes,

you did nothing wrong. Scolar is considered as one of the strongest paths for earning gold. However the scolar is weaker in combat and some players have even complained about that. You need to invest the gold to stay safe, buying good equipment. The fun about the campaign is to try things out using gold to invest in buildings or equipment and exploring the worldmaps.

Have fun and thanks for playing.
Sorry for the late reply, i was on vacation.
