the power of debug mode is very dangerous....it makes it rather easy to cheat through all the levels. However, it also reveals when there's an image that's not to be found. :hmm: Okay. When you are playing Wesnoth, type :debug When you are done with debug mode, type :nodebug to get out of it.

:debug doesn't reveal any "image not found" for an exit sign or anything like that. Map looks the same as always. I've killed the bad guy, I'm just wandering around trying to find an exit. I noticed there wasn't any exit sign for the previous level either. I looked at the scenario text, it says that moving Ricardo to (36,19) is supposed to be victory. Doesn't work. Also, saved games past turn 8 are still corrupted.

Fixed, but I think I'll finish all the 14 (oops, said it) scenarios before uploading it.

So what is the trick? I want to continue the campaign. I was at that leader swap scenario and it started to be corrupted at turn 2. I thought after leveleling one specific unit.

Can you remember which unit? That would help a lot.

It was one of the 3 loyal new fellows from the scenario before. Crusader-faction? I leveled him to a level 2 foot fellow. It was some squire type. But I picked the foot option.

One more thing. In szenario 1 is a horseman as messenger. Hevdoes not come back. I would like to get him back.

I don't know if the bug is still there in the newest version. Try updating.

You'll be able to recruit them again in scenario 9, which is currently finished. Expect the next release around next week.

"Avoiding" a confrontation

Post by buckeye43026 »

Howdy,

How do you AVOID a confrontation? Do you just run away to the top of the map, or is there somethinbg else to it? How long do you run away?

Thanks!

Maybe I should make it clearer... I mean "make sure you don't kill too many Ceresians."

Hi,
I'm playing SoL. 0.5.45, and I've found a serious problem: in scenario Tunnel_Vision, every
save file, both automatic and manual, generated after the killing of Ambrosino, results invalid.
By debugging, it seems that the problem is caused by such lines in the save files:
Ceresian Man-at-Arms=1

I have no knowledge of WML and of Wesnoth syntax, but I think this is a good clue to sove the problem.

For sake of completeness, I'm playing Wesnoth 1.9.1 on a Ubuntu 10.10 system, and I installed the .deb packages taken
from Debian Sid repositories.

Regards.

Thank you! The "-" caused the error. Will be fixed soon.
