I mean some people were saying that we couldn't use the idea because of copyright law, and I'm saying that it isn't illegal to use in wesnoth, as long as we don't use magic mechanics. And also no one is making money off wesnoth.

There not robots unles s there being run by technology. Ussually things run by magic or made by magic are called artifacts whther they move or not.

Romnajin meant that so long as we don't use the Magic: The Gathering mechanics, we're fine. Its OK to have magic be the explanation for the creatures, though, so long as Magic isn't.

The 'no one is making money out of wesnoth' is against the GPL license.

I'm not sure how that applies to user created campaigns, but generally any further restriction means a no.

Right now i see that some peoples had understood that we couldn't use the same units as magic. So now I would like to know if some people agree to start this project or not.

Even dave said this in his essays. Want something done? Do it yourself - you cannot, and should not assume that anyone will help you. This is an important lesson to learn about life in general.

Or download the demo MP era and use it as a template. It was made for people just like you. There are also other MP eras on the server you could copy (the demo MP era enables L3 outlaws, so it's not 100% safe for real-world use).

They're on the campaign server. There's the High Seas, Demo (default2), Wizard War, and the Summoner's era. They end up in the campaigns directory in your user folder.
