Oooh yeah, the expression is much improved. He (She? Oh yeah, she. Doh...) looks much fiercer. Don't mess with this mama and her young'uns!
Re: A Fiery Birth-Drake Campaign (9 Scenarios) Now on 1.18
I'm coming back to update this campaign and others based on some great advice refumee gave me over a year ago.
One thing he pointed out was that the first scenario doesn't need to be an actual battle since the units don't get saved for future use. That first scenario has you play as a poisoned Fire Dragon with bat summons against some elves. The idea is that you're meant to use your leadership to boost the bats' attack.
I don't mind cutting it if it improves flow (since the dragon dies next scenario, and the bats don't return). On the other hand, I like the OP units and added a few to my different campaigns since there aren't many chances to use them.
So, I thought of adding a choice before the prelude: 'would you like to play through the prelude, or experience it as its own stand-alone scenario? No units or gold will carryover'.
If I do add that choice, I can add a similar choice to the two later levels where you lose half of your recruit list temporarily ('this level was intended to be fought with only non-flying units. Would you like to play with that restriction, or keep access to your full list?)
Just wanted to see if anyone had thoughts one way or another. If no one chimes in, I'll probably add the choice.

Been quite a while since I’ve played it, but having a choice seems fine to me

Thanks, I was just about to start editing, so your input is helpful. Now I just have to search the forums to figure out how to add a choice

Working on more art for this (I stopped halfway through last time so never updated it with the other art in this thread, but I hope to finish the update this time!)
This is the opening Story Art where the scholar is talking about studying Drakes and journeying to meet them.

Thanks! I'm going through and making a lot of changes. I still like my original vision, but I'm going to add opt-out options and change up some objectives (so people can choose to use their full recall list on the ocean level or choose to add bridges to the floating island level).
