Re: Legend of the Invincibles
So i got this helmet, mentioned in this thread like 10 years ago (Dugi replied at the time with the fix, the reported bug isn't the point it's more just to illustrate what item I'm talking about)
Am i reading it right that the damage from frostbite scales with cold resistance, so that units with high or theoretically 100% cold resistance mitigates the malus? I picked it up right at the beginning of part 2 and stuck it on Efraim before realizing he was getting a ton of damage even on top of what the demons were hitting for lol. What's the sort of intended synergy, putting it on something like elvish snow hunter?

Yep, I usually put it on my undead units, which has naturally high cold resistance, it's quite good for them since the helmet also gives you a high amount of fire and arcane resistance, which undead needs. They usually would only get 4 cold damages, for a net positive of 4 total healing from the regen.torelma wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2025, 12:26 am So i got this helmet, mentioned in this thread like 10 years ago (Dugi replied at the time with the fix, the reported bug isn't the point it's more just to illustrate what item I'm talking about)

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
I have tried to experiment for myself, and from my experience the perfect Efraim/Lethalia can be achieved by crafting them Dugi's Wrath for their sword/axe respectively, this guarantees you to kill any enemy on your turn with the whirlwind attack, and if you focus the rest of your item slot on resistance boosting items and least one item that gives you wrath, you could also let them solo enemies on their own turn. In my build, I used Dugi's Wrath on Efraim, and the amla that I picked for him is the ones that improves his sword attacks, and I also gave him some amlas to improve his magic resistance, so that he doesn't get killed by demons ranged attacks. I don't bother with the physical res amlas since Efraim has quite good base terrain defence, and Dugi's Wrath gave him even more, so he shouldn't have any problem dodging melee attacks. If you want to use Dugi's Wrath on another unit, you could opt for crafting an Anger sword instead and/or giving him a mask of insanity. Ideally you should also focus on the entropy amlas since I found that to be his strongest ranged option, but taking all those amlas took so much experience, so in my playthrough I focused on his sword first. And also, you should never try to pick legacies or use books on Efraim and Lethalia, since those amlas increase their max experience by 20% for each amla taken while their own amla and the one you get from redeeming only increase it for about 9%. For Lethalia, you could use the same whirlwind strat, but I personally prefer to focus on her faerie fire attack. It get really strong if you managed to upgrade it to get the explosive version of the attacks and equipping an item that gives you wrath. The damage bonus from wrath would stack up really quick, since it has positive feedback loop. The wrath increase the explosive weapon damage, and the damage increase let the explosive attack to hit more enemies, which helps you gather more wrath stacks. The reason I went with faerie fire instead of something like firestorm or blizzard is that it's the one with the most attacks, and lethalia has an amla that gives you arcane penetration, which you can stack with the arcane penetration amla from redeeming. the rest of the amla should went to improve her survivabilityArtanaro wrote: ↑October 30th, 2025, 10:15 pm Hi there! It's been a while since one fellow LotI uploaded a tier list of the best units to employ in this campaign. Still, I am even more interested if there is a good soul who spent time min-maxing Efraim/Lethalia, especially for part II?
What I mean is that their AMLAs are really vast and extensive, yet leveling up at some point slows down substantially (unless you farm infinitely demons lol). I got obsessed with the idea of picking "perfect" AMLAs for both of them for the sake of satisfying my need to have them both as perfect as possible. Like, let me share a trivial example - should you even level up Efraim's fear or knife, or instead use souls to get some better magic; or completely neglect the magic and just invest all in weapons.
Hope you get what I'm seeking - perhaps there are some great minds here who already cracked it and know how to build absolutely perfect Efraim/Lethalia, at least from one's PoV.
