Re: Ambient and Incidental music
Saw this, but got distracted and forgot about it - I've uploaded these to 1.18 and 1.19 in Book 13.

Re: Ambient and Incidental music
The opening of Sombre immediately reminded me of one of the existing tracks (Love Theme possibly? Either that or Transience) but then it went in a totally different direction. Still, it does have a sorta similar kind of feel to Love Theme. I suppose that makes sense since it's the same composer… anyway, it seems to fit in with the other Wesnoth music. It did feel a bit muddy around the middle though. It seems like it could fit for a "calmer" scenario or cutscene.
The percussion in Ambient variation 1 seems nice. I think this track is a bit more suspenseful? I like this one the most of the four, I think.
Brainstorm is pretty nice too, even calmer than Sombre (well, I guess Sombre is sombre after all). It's a little drab and monotonous(?) though.
I'm not sure it would make sense to include all 4 of these tracks in the core game, as they're all pretty similar to each other. At least one could be added, maybe two.
