Great to see the Windsong receiving some love - and thanks so much for the changes!
Now, I'm ok with Heretics and Warmongers getting 'enchanted' rather than 'magical', but I'll insist on two things:
a) Giving them both 60% defence on castle (they're not tanks, so giving them a slightly higher defence on that terrain shouldn't break them)
b) Make the Rune Forger's attacks magical (with the arbiter's magical/slowing attack + melee attack, there's absolutely no logical reason anyone would ever advance Savants to Rune Forger). Or maybe not give them 'magical' attack - but it's important to give them any advantage over the Arbiter, otherwise the Rune Forger will be effectively useless as a unit.

I'll also insist on what I said about the Weaver line needing some boosts... :whistle:
Took in consideration this post to include some changes for the next Ageless Release (keep in mind EOM is slightly different at ageless than on its own era.... for now...) , but in Ageless we kept a more close-to original windsongs, still made things more interesting like adding 50% flat defense for rune forger to help her to not-suck this hard, but I think it was not enough....

AE - EOM - Windsong adjustments
- Runeforger HP to 51 (+2) , movement to 6 (+1) , blade/arcane res increased by 10% , memory/sorrow dmg damage increase by +1 , sorrow now has marksman , price to 57g (+2g)
Hoping that the new features and stats increases help her to rival better to mages.
- Heretic HP to 51 (+4)
- Harbingger Movement to 6 (+1) , Both swords damage increase by +1
- Herald movement to 6 (+1)
- Ascendant HP to 54 (+5)


Edited: tought it was EOM forum post, not WW , but I know this has a windsongs version, just suggesting some propossals.

AE - EOM - Windsong adjustments

I did some of these for the 1.19.x version of WoL. The Harbinger change was not done as I saw it led to 13-4 melee and 11-3 berserk attack only melee. This was too much.

v1.2.7.68 was updated to Wesnoth 1.18 and 1.19 servers.

Please note that the version numbers may be the same for both add-on servers but there are some differences. Such as some bugs introduced in 1.19 lua/engine are not present in the 1.18 version.

Next up, I will be adding the final WoL faction: Harpies. Might happen for 2025.

I will currently work on the WoL Dunefolk campaign.

legend era is great,i very like steelhive faction,how to unlock lv4 unit?its name is steel dominant,i can find it in help,but i can‘t recruit it in game,it is so cool。

As for the answer to your question, it's a single-player campaign only unit. Should be featured in Legends of Idaamub campaign and upcoming Deep Elves campaign.

a super machine stand in front of the steelhive army,that would be an impressive sight

Elvish Hero Line - Damage adjustment.

Hey mods, love the era, but could you maybe adjust the elvish hero line in the sense that you give him base dmg + 10% accuracy?
I think its a real cool feature in the main game and I would love to see it added for the lv 4 and 5 units.

And if I had one more feedback, I would ask to add the druid thorn spell to elvish star line, and not take it out and replace it with an arcane attack.

I love playing your era in RPGs btw :)

I think you have the wrong era and core...
could you maybe adjust the elvish hero line in the sense that you give him base dmg + 10% accuracy?
This unit is from the base game unit so it's modification is locked behind a lot of bureaucracy and MP balance disputes.

No unit with ID "Elvish Star" exists in War of Legends.

I think you have confused my era with "Legend of the Invincibles". Not the first time...
