Playing scenario Against the World with BfW 1.19.5
intermediate difficulty (corrupt)
There is an abnormal behavior of merfolk side;
The leader moves in the north-west corner of the map and all his units follow him.
Once they reach the corner they no longer move.
More, the leaders of other side abandon their keep when they have finished recruiting, and do not return.
I would attach the replay, but I can't find it.

You are playing the version under development, not the stable version, so you should expect some bugs. This does seem to be a bug that nobody else has noticed. Can you report it on the bug tracker site?
If you are interested in more technical information, the merfolk side is controlled by a microAI. The soldiers are supposed to stay adjacent to the leader as he travels to the center of the map. Then, the normal AI takes over and they can attack wherever they want. The leaders not returning to the keep is probably a completely separate issue, but I don't have any other information about that one.

On 1.19.12 SOTA reliably crashes in the first scenario — as soon as I hover over the grey bat (there's only one, the rest appear normal and are not problematic). No output on the terminal, gdb also doesn't catch a stack trace (I guess the problem is in a subthread).
