(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on?
Easy. v1.18. I should note that my version of "easy" has two self-imposed "ironman" rules: #1 No save-scumming, you roll with the RNG no matter how unlucky you are. #2 If you are defeated, the whole campaign is over and it's back to the first level.
(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10)
5. The fighting in the center was pretty intense. I liked that the player is forced to recruit all the different drake types; that way the player gets more familiarization with the faction and you can’t just lean on one unit type.
(3) What did you think about the dialog and story?
It was foreshadowed since the first level that Karron was bad news. After her defeat I expected her to fly into a rage or swear vengeance. But for her to saying nothing was, I guess, even more ominous. I liked how you get a big neutral audience for this contest of arms.
(4) What were the major challenges you faced?
Getting used to drake-on-drake combat. A fight where almost everyone has poor evasion was new to me; pincering the enemy so they couldn’t move/escape proved to be almost as useful as killing them.
(5) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10)
8. Fun.
(6) What suggestions do you have to make it more fun?
None.

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Challenging 1.18.4
(2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 6
(3) What did you think about the dialog and story? Good dialog, though the concept of recruiting different castes and intendants could be more fleshed out

(4) What were the major challenges you faced?
Because of Gorlack's gold advantage, losing villages in the centre is very dangerous, similarly I was very mindful to avoid unit losses until the end, so as to not be overwhelmed. I let the arbiter come up the left and take villages until the end, baiting and pinning it with gliders and burners, so I could focus down the flare and reinforcements.

(5) How fun do you think the scenario is? (1-10) 8, very nice challenge with fun twists
(6) What suggestions do you have to make it more fun? None

This scenario is a tomato surprise. I levelled that fighter into a L3 blademaster, not having any reason to think that they would turn on me. Obviously this was not a deliberate effort, it just happened that the RNG favoured that unit, and again, I had no reason to think it was anything special. With the enemy one level higher than me, obviously this scenario was going to be difficult.

Answer to (6) – put a level cap on Gorlack or whatever they're called.

Don't worry, your opponent would be a L3 blademaster in this scenario regardless of whether or not you leveled her in scenario 1. So nothing you accomplished was turned against you.

Good.

The mirroring resistance to fire, which made half of the recruits (gliders and burners) essentially useless. Eventually it easy scenario, biggest problem was self-imposed attempt to not sacrifice much units.
