Re: Fog
Hey,
I'm gonna assume, you don't want to play add-on, with fog, but you want that code, for that:
First thing, any code relared questions should be asked in WML Workshop, especially for something as simple as fog.
Second thing, this gonna sound little bit toxic, but there's WML wiki https://wiki.wesnoth.org/DirectActionsW ... ift_fog.5D , quite good, I'd say, so before you ask a question, try to search it up on wiki, we're just people too. (Ofc there's nothing bad about asking, but you seem to have made little bit to none effort to get the answer)
Happy coding

What the hell?! I put in WML Workshop - why is it here?! Sorry!ZombieKnight wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2025, 7:03 am First thing, any code relared questions should be asked in WML Workshop, especially for something as simple as fog.
Yeah... I know about the wiki and stuff! I always look there before coming here to ask anything!ZombieKnight wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2025, 7:03 am Second thing, this gonna sound little bit toxic, but there's WML wiki https://wiki.wesnoth.org/DirectActionsW ... ift_fog.5D , quite good, I'd say, so before you ask a question, try to search it up on wiki, we're just people too. I'm having trouble with the fog; I've tried so many ways to reset the damn fog (redraw, scroll, etc, etc, etc), but when the fog is cleared by a unit, it doesn't reset. So that's why I wanna know if there is some add-on with such a code - just like the [place_shroud]. But apparently there is none!

Re: Fog
Read the [reset_fog] doc then (really read it, it's there)
Re: Fog
Question read as request for addon recommendation, nothing to do with WML so I moved it away.
Re: Fog
DAMNIT! DAMNIT! DAMNIT!
I read the reset_fog too fast. The reset_view: default: no
I thought the default was 'yes'!
Only the reset_view worked and placed the damn fog again!

Sorry for my stupidity and lack of attention! I'm telling you, there is no hope for me; a painful death is mercy!

I see...
Thank God you didn't paid attention to what I said about 'I READ EVERYTHING'! You repeating for me to read ended up helping me! Thanks! In my haste I didn't see the most important detail! reset_view: default: no reset_view: default: no reset_view: default: no reset_view: default: no (IT WAS NOZombieKnight wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2025, 2:20 pm Read the [reset_fog] doc then (really read it, it's there)
