Beautiful works, you are a great artist. I especially love the Minotaurs, Chaos Casters and Javelineer remake. :)

Thanks for the kind words GreenScarab! Reminds me that I had picked at the Javelineer a bit at some point in the last two years. Wasn't satisfied with the pose being the same as all the other new Loyalist units, especially when the old sprite was different in that regard, so went and plowed ahead with another base frame that's mostly done.

The new pose looks nice, but the old one is good too. I really like that the new version have the soul of a original.

I agree, both are good, but the new pose is more interesting. Finish that up and let's get this into mainline.

The new pose look more "battle-ready" which is good!

Oooh yeah I love the new jav sprite. The old one looks like a nerd who is looking around saying, huh, please don't hurt me while the new one looks like a killer. : )

Thanks very much everyone for all of the kind comments. I think the SE base frame is pretty much set at this point. No promises unfortunately, but might play around with animations for him soon -- we'll see.

Hey look, I still have some animating bones in me! No promises about how fast this might progress, but happy to hear feedback on the motion for this very rough block of the melee.

Triple-post with update on the melee and a first pass on the bob. Melee might be there in terms of frame count, but fair number of moving parts to keep track of, not sure how well the force of the strike is being sold. Bob is a little boring, will see about ways to refine and add interest / visual appeal.

That is looking great, keep up the good work!

I wonder if the bob could be a little more exaggerated, involving more of the torso - "bob" is for wounded/exhausted, "standing" would be something more subtle like breezes rippling hanging cloth, and clearly distinct from "bob".

Would it be okay to use those sprites for the campaign Palms amid Blue Dunes?
I want to reintegrate tribal jungle goblins there and I feel wolf riders don't fit there, but the lizard riders do :)
