Welcome hatahiro! :D :D Feel free to ask any and all questions! And modding the game is super fun and easy so if you have campaign ideas they can become a reality!
Thanks :D You have made me more excited to start realizing my ideas!

Hello, I came here because I wanted to replay the game and maybe really beat it after 10 years. I played Wesnoth for around 3 years, but didn't had opportunities to beat it because I didn't had much interest for strategy games at the time.
Also, which game version/patch has the best balancing?

I am a new player, the first time to play this game on iOS iPad, I think it is very good, but the picture quality is not very clear, some of the Chinese used has not been completed, continue to explore this game.

Hello methanfeminine, I hope that you will enjoy the game.
Maybe try to download some add-ons, so you can play with other interesting factions, like Cyclops, Minotaurs, Vampires etc...
Enjoy other adventures and even experiment with different games modes (like rpg mods and others) and added features.

Hi guys! I've been playing Battle for Wesnoth for more than half a year so far, and it really impresses me. Wonderful lore, non-trivial luck mechanics, and lots of fun! I am now beginning to slowly move towards multiplayer options (if only I could find a good company)...

hi,
I am a 65 years old mummy and I introduced my son to the Battle for Wesnoth many years ago, when he was becoming too old to continue playing Gcompris. I am not a gamer myself, because when I gave it a try I was unable to pinpoint the small color / dot whatever above the head of the characters… I have a slight sight issue I guess. But I love the story.
Now I bought the book Battle for Wesnoth - Heir to the throne by James Richey and the folks here at the Wesnoth forum, and realized then that it was also published under a GPL licence. Hence I looked for a copy of the sources, and I guess I finally got one using archive.org?

Anyway I am here to tell you I'll publish it back somewhere on a forge, so everyone can translate it into their language, which is what I am currently starting to do : I'll translate it from English to French. (Github? Gitlab? Where would it be likely to be available for all to find easily? Github seems to have a become tad difficult to access, or is it just me?)

Also more images inside the pages would be nice, and if some of the people publishing creations here will allow it, I would love to add some of them between the chapters.
