Minotaurs on the Far South

Post by holypaladin »

Some creators of add-ons like Lord Knightmare and Kwalidun were placing minotaurs on the Far South. What's the possible orygin of them in this place? :D

Maybe they evolved in this region, because normal humans have to run days without water or food teough the desert, and they could just run a few hours and reach a new sourche of water. Also the combat is better in the desert, you can run fast, fight and dont have to run days without food or water.

Hmmm... Minotaurs looks on more resilient on desert than normal people but we already have dunefolk that are feeling okay on desert as humans... For me minotaurs are just another race that is partly similiar to human (just as mermen, nagas) but with some traits of bulls.

Adding some new races on southern territory may be needed if we're about to give this region some bigger role. Currently we have only dunefolk.

And quenoth, so for it to be complete i would expect some orc/dwarf counterpart maybe minotaur could be an orc sort of thing?

Quenoth are existing only in UtbS which happens long after other mainline campainings and present descedants of wood elves that were forced to live on desert. In "Fate of a princess" there was few units of southern orcs (although not very convincing to me) that invanded the north. As for already canonical existing there's elves (Southwood, Blackwood), dunefolk and trolls (underground, appear in The South Guard).
