Elvish shaman fanart

Post by pankeke »

Hi everyone! :D
I drew a fanart of the elvish shaman as the title says.
I recently started playing wesnoth again, which reminded me of how I used to wish the portraits were cuter. (I was a kid and didn't understand that it wouldn't fit the game.) Anyways, now that I have the skills, I decided to draw the shaman as I would have imagined her back then. ^^

I might make more portraits like this later.

(Also, I'm open for critique if anyone cares.)

Yeah, definitely wouldn't fit into the main game. Looks neat regardless though :)

Cool. Only suggestion is to think about the shadows. The setting in the forest and the lights are pretty awesome, but the rest of the body is covered in shadows and little bit too dark.

Is this an actual ongoing project?

Adorable! I do notice though that the fingers of her right hand are oddly splayed like in a Vulcan salute. (Must be them ears, caught in a rice picker no doubt ;) I don't _believe_ people ever grip things like that.
