I see what the problem is.
I dont know in which order the if-clauses are working, but I guess, if it is a top-down system, it should work, if I switch the position of the two if-clauses. I try that later at home.

I rework the appearance of Reshan the same way I did with the underground schedule. I will not just use the only entrance to the heroes. I will use the whole area.

Soonish, I will update the campaign to Version 1.1. Here I will replace the Drakes with another Saurian tribe and some more dialog. Dialog for player who reach the entrance to Vendraxis Lair without dealing with all the leaders.

Version 1.0.8 is up. It should work now.

I did a short test. I tested the old setup with you description. Scenario didn't work.
New setup, lets you rush B.

Next step will be updating zu 1.1.0, except you find more mistakes.

His 2nd death no longer seems to cause anything. :/

Now it should work. I did a long test. Tried a lot of different codes.

I did not know that last breath triggers only once, if I don't add "first_time_only=no". I thought that would be the default mode.
Interesting is also, that wesnoth checks all if-clauses, even if on if-clause resolves the other...

It is also very confusing, that it worked in my older playthroughs.

Anyway, I added another variable, some new triggers and it works now.
Just don't use version 1.0.9.

At last!
Btw, you forgot to rename the map file for the last scenario.

Possible suggestion, give Vendraxis melee (and ranged?) plague. The other saurian necromancers have melee plague anyway.

Saurian Lich has the same description as the Saurian Adpet.

Map file is renamed now. Vendraxis is now more dangerous with your suggestions.
The last Map should be now accessible.

I will check you replay later and edit the description of the saurian Adept and Lichs. I need to do a lot of descriptions.

Quite interesting how you used the dragonfly riders in this mission.
I think, I'll add an event, if a player reaches the end without killing the lich.

Would it be more interesting to have a dragonfly leader who can recruit more units? I considered while watching you play, but I think it would be too strong.

I would be interested in the Dragonfly leader. My regular leaders can't keep up.

I think I'd consider them too op in some scenarios. For example in the snow scenario, it means I get all the benefits of moving my leaders ahead, I can just take the keep of the bandits, or the heroes, without having to move my slow leaders there.

I figured so. The snow scenario was planned as a slow push forward.
I thought that saurians are fast in general, except in snowy terrain.

Update to Version 1.1.0.
Old savegames are not working anymore with this Version, except if someone starts with Scenario 07.

Here Zanza will meet new Saurians (Drakes are no more) the so called Golden Ones. A small saurian group who hates undead and follow the One.
I tried to add some description, no promises.

I tried to restart from S7 Snowpass, but got this error:

Bugfix is up.
I removed old assets, who were important for the transitions of older versions.

Reashan says twice that they want to follow my lead. I won without destroying the Lich.
(Btw do you want to change the name of the ally? I thought the name was a reference to Reshan in Wings of Victory)

My Slayer Thief that can recruit is not auto recalled.

Vendraxis has resistances like a Saurian that's alive.

Reshan was never a reference for the Reshan in Wings of Victory. I didn't even know him :oops:
I just thought that is a cool name an I keep it. I will think about a new name.

I deleted the second follow option. It will trigger now, if he is alive.
Tarex recalls again in the last scenario.
