My big PR for a 1.4.0 release got merged; it doesn't look like Yumi has made a new release for it yet, though, but one should be incoming soon now...

OK, the new 1.4.0 release is now live on the BfW 1.14 add-on server!
Some highlights from the ChangeLog:
  • Disentangled advancement paths involving Akladian leaders
  • New sprites for Akladian Homeguard line
  • New sandy version of "Trapped" map for the benefit of Dunefolk
  • Fix unit sound effects
  • Fix some old entries from KNOWN_BUGS.txt
  • Improve modifications to elves
  • Do a better job cataloguing needed art
  • More message captions
  • Various changes for the benefit of WML maintenance tools (wmlindent, wmllint, wmlxgettext, wmlscope)
  • Additional links in various docfiles
  • Add a "snowshoes" item
  • Buff Akladian healers recruited by the player, in response to player feedback (enemy healers should still be weak, though)
  • Notify player about turns running out in objectives
  • Add Souls from Default L0 Era for use by undead
  • Embed unique unit portraits in their declarations
  • end_text now fits on end screen

So, I've been working on porting this to BfW 1.16, but have been running into an issue that I'm not sure how to work past:

ok, that PR has been merged, too; the next step for porting to 1.16 is fixing this: https://github.com/nemaara/A_New_Order/issues/46. I've made a bunch of changes towards it in my own tree, but testing them gets boring after awhile (since Battle of Barnon is a long scenario), so if anyone wants to help test, let me know.

A New Order version 1.4.1 is now available on the BfW 1.16 add-on server! The corresponding GitHub tag for it is available here: https://github.com/nemaara/A_New_Order/releases/tag/1.4.1
Be sure to check the Changelog for a full list of changes!

Edit: Apparently it's available on the BfW 1.17 add-on server now, too!

Coming in the next release (once it's ready):
  • NIGHTMARE difficulty level
  • Updated Czech translation (thanks to Septim and Celerini)
  • Redecorated maps (should still be functionally equivalent; they'll just look better)
  • Enemy reinforcements will actually be shown arriving in "time over" events
  • ...and more that I haven't opened pull requests for yet!

Czech translations are not completed there is still lot of texts in english.

Why akladians have that hight resistances ? And even against fire and cold.

(well ok actually it's https://github.com/nemaara/A_New_Order/releases/tag/1.5.0.1 but that's just because there was a mistake in uploading, so let's jut ignore that)

So, I'm looking for testers for the following pull request, preferably on either Windows or Linux: https://github.com/nemaara/A_New_Order/pull/97. Specifically, I have attempted compressing the images, and want to make sure they still look ok after compression.
