Cannot play multiplayer

I wanted to try this game with my friend and for some reason the game doesn't recognise my account here despite this account working well.

Typos are pretty much out of the question because I copy paste all my passwords. (And this method works fine on this account)

If you paste the password and then hit backspace once, does it work? There have been a few cases such as this one where a stray character was for some reason getting added to the end of the username or password.

Sadly it doesn't.

Does your password by any chance contain one or more characters that are not in the ASCII character set?

I set the password to something myself, and now jnzsblzs is able to log in, so it looks like the most likely problem was a character in the password that the forums can process (or just ignore) but that the Wesnoth client handles differently.
