After considering this option, talking to players and getting very positive feedback from many participants, I have decided to extend the tournament duration to 11 rounds. This will enable the joiners to compete for the top scores and provide some more fun games to the participants.

Let me remind you: if you want to skip any round because you have too little time to play, just tell me before it begins. Also, if you want to join you can still do it from round 5 onwards.

Undead (me) rush rebels on ruphus isle and win fast

P1 Undead (me) vs P2 Rebels on Ruphus Isle. I made a rush with 2 adepts, ghost, skelly and a bat. I got all the hits I needed and there were just too few elvish fighters to stop it. Then Xplorer started spamming mages but I reinforced with more adepts, kept attacking at day, getting economic advantage. Mages died fast to adept shots and soon it was GG.

The hard thing about defending on this map is that you usually need to swing your leader over to the side you are defending. Here, however, my bat stayed on the other side for the whole game and forced Xplorer to stay with his leader and keep villages in his range so that when the bat captures, leader will kill the bat. Mages are fragile but deal huge damage so I thought trying to kill them is better than retreating, especially when given my economic advantage I didn't have to worry too much about losing units.

Also, this matchup is usually considered favorable for rebels. However, a well-executed p1 undead rush is hard to defend for elves, especially on a map like Ruphus Isle. Compare this to a map such as Caves of the Basilisk, where (as elf) you can retreat from the side village and have no problem with recapturing it at day.
