Android lan/wesnothd

Hi I have been playing wesnoth on android for quite some time and me and my brother decided to play it on lan. However, we cannot connect to each using the local multiplayer option. I also went looking around the forums looking for a tutorial or something but all I found was for PC and it didn't answer my probems. In the preferences I also found about the wesnothd executable which is I think needed to host a local network game but somehow I cannot find it in my game folder for some reason. I'm using the latest android version on google play btw. I'm hoping someone would take his time to answer. Thanks

What do you enter for the server address, and what error message do you get?

I used the ip address of the local wifi kind of a
substitute for a router in pc terms I think. The error I
get is connection refused and when we use hotspot it
says it can't find the server. Also, I can't find the "host a network" option in multiplayer menu.

You need to enter the IP of the device that runs wesnothd. It‘s possible the android port does not contain wesnothd.
