He and his 12 year old sister now consider it their favourite game. Below is his pencil drawing of Konrad surveying the countryside, for your enjoyment.
Awesome... you really touched my little heart!!
Things like this really encourage to work harder in the game

Konrad in colour

Post by SynrG »

Konrad certainly has captured my son's imagination. When I came home from work today, he was waving this new picture of Konrad in my face at the door.

Sorry, the colours aren't entirely true, but they're close. Konrad's face should be more tanned and smudged with battle grime and less green. Konrad's hair is flaming orange, but I don't think quite that bright. :)

SyrnG, that is really cool :)

Maybe one of our artists should spruce up one of the pictures a little, and we could put it in the game! :)

I'm trying to think of a level where Konrad attacks a big enemy castle. I can't think of one off the top of my head. But maybe we could use it when he finally attacks the stronghold of the evil queen whatshername? c'mon you know that level is going to be in the campaign eventually. :-) But it would definitely make this kid's day if we could use the image as a basis for one of the storyboard images in the game. And it actually is a pretty good drawing, I certainly couldn't do better.

At least the other shoulder and a big part of your back would be required to tatoo the LICENSE. ;)

versiontracker.com

I was in the mood to find an "old style" turn based stradegy so I could play while taking care of my kids. Now I play it all the time. Eventhough I have played all the levels my wife wants to know why I still play.....

It is a really fun game.

Greetings,

I came here by way of a post in the Games Discussion board on Waterthread.org. While Waterthread mostly concerns itself with the world of MMO gaming, good games of all types and platforms are brought up and shown around and discussed... I don't know where the person found BfW who brought it to our attention but I'm glad they did.
