I tried for a little, but watching the replay is horrifically slow. Why not just say what happened?

The campaign is incompatible with most mods in 1.14 because when a [object] is removed, it would force the game to re-calculate the unit stats from the standard value of their unit_types, ignoring the items.
I think a quick solution is to give user an menu_item option to fire the event of "update_stats"

It can function. But IIRC Dugi said something can be broken because of debug mode, maybe duplicated AMLA options?
If you think the solution is ugly, you can hide it behind a config macro like WC2 did with the setting of allowing alien era.

@Konrad2 Hmm, interesting. I might cobble together a test case if I have time. I haven't noticed anything weird, but the only LotI stuff I've been doing recently is bug fixing, which doesn't really qualify as a playtest...

hey everyone!
i started replaying LOTI on Wesnoth 1.14, in the first scenario, when efraim occurs, there is an error report that says "unit unknown" ( or something similar, i do not remember the exact term).
also, i realised, when units level up when it is not my turn, they do not regain their health points to full extend but when it is my turn they do. is this wanted? it seems kind of unfair to me though..

@moony I'll try and take a look at the first thing. The second thing is sort of intended, although behaviour may have changed slightly in 1.14. Essentially LotI tries to delay advancement to the start of your turn, for multiplayer reasons IIRC.

i get that, but even after i have chosen a new advancement, they do not get full health. my question is if that is intended. sorry, english is not my native language

im at Meeting of the Ancients and it just says game over every time i start ,I relay relay want to keep playing this has been an amazing experience. I can recruit 2 people and then all i can see is them and it tells me im defeated.

@darcon Can I have a savegame of the broken scenario? This campaign hasn't been tested on 1.14 very thoroughly yet, so a few issues are expected.

I found 1 reference to someone else who had the same problem, apparently my main character is still alive and not able to recruit , she should have died and become a litch in a much earlier campaigner, is there any way to edit game files to make her a litch and a leader. Attatched is the save file from just before I win that lv and move onto the next so you can see what happens. Would be very grateful to anyone that can fix this.
