Sounds great that the recalls and gold is carried through for each player but I am worried I will lose Cleodil and ruin it for everyone :/ Does one player's failure end the whole scenario for everyone?

Maybe there should be a community bail-out function where they put in a bunch of gold to resurrect other playres?

Wesnoth 1.11.18 has been tagged which means that the content is already final and it will be released soon.

The release will include LoW MP with an overhauled Chapter One.
It should be a good base for starting the coop.

This is a quote from my private discussion with kiss:

I locate you at Pearth Australia and DarkPhoenix at Honolulu Hawai! For the record, I'm in France. I can send you a map link if you're interested.

Here is what we have to deal with:

There's not that much room for time scheduling ... for all of us.

I use the same nick everywhere for Wesnoth: forum, serveur, IRC, ... this is easier for everyone.

My time:
Tomorrow: from 10:00 to 15:00
Saturday: from 14:00 to 1:00
Sunday: from 10:00 to 15:00
Monday: from 10:00 to 17:00
I would just like to correct that since kiss is UTC+1 and I am UTC+8 there should only be a 7 hour difference between us. I just checked the time there in France right now and it is 11:30PM while here it is 6:30AM (I am from the Philippines).
For now it is still only chapter 1 of the campaign involving only two players. When we reach the 2nd chapter Darkphoenix will take the 3rd slot.
So kiss I will see you then on Saturday in the multiplayer lobby of the latest development version of wesnoth at 14:00 of your time which is 21:00 of mine..
This would be 3 AM for darkphoenix so we will post the replay of our game for you so that you may follow our progress.
See you in the lobby kiss!
Also in addition to gworldclock there is http://24timezones.com/

The campaign has started! For you DarkPhoenix here is the replay of the first scenario, you need 1.11.18 to view:
LoW-The_Uprooting_replay.gz
(35.94 KiB) Downloaded 295 times
We started the second scenario but we encountered bugs. First when we transitioned straight from the first scenario to the second it said that the game could not continue due to OOS. Second when we loaded LoW-Hostile_Mountains.gz it did not have the recall list from the previous scenario. Third when we loaded LoW-Hostile_Mountains - Turn1.gz the recall list was correct but the enemies were under the control of the host so I had to droid them both.
Spoiler:
By the way for all, we still will need one more player when we reach the third chapter

Well, I have to say I'm a bit lost!

We encountered bugs, perhaps not, but at least some confusing things.
I'm not familiar with bug reports, but I'll try.

I'll report from my side, with material I have from max_torch, but I think we need, if it is needed, a better process for that.
Afaik, this is the first release with an official MP coop campaign. It worth a try to improve feedback no?

A simple idea, maybe difficult to implement, a button each player can activate to log all clients and server side session.

Ok

I let yourself play with that Antispam test!
Forget my bug reports, I won't go there anymore.

Hi max_torch, kiss and others: I just wanted to let you know that your feedback is much appreciated and not being ignored. However, fabi (who is LoW's maintainer) is currently not able to put much, if any, time into Wesnoth for personal reasons and others, such as I, are busy taking care of other things. Rest assured that we will eventually get back to you, but it will probably take some time. Sorry for that!

As a general remark, LoW in MP mode unfortunately still has quite a few problems. Some of those are because of LoW itself, some of them are due to bugs in the MP campaign engine. We will almost certainly not be able to fix all of those for 1.12.0, which we currently expect to be tagged by mid November. So most likely we will disable LoW as a mainline campaign for 1.12.0 and put it on the add-ons server instead. That will make it easier for both the maintainers and the players/testers to work out the details. When things are working well enough, we will reintroduce it into mainline in a later 1.12.x release.

This is not what we had in mind and it's quite unfortunate, but for practical reasons it is the best we can do at this time.

As a side note, if anybody would like to help with fixing up the campaign in MP mode (SP is in a comparatively good shape), please send me a PM.

Okay when you guys make a fix we perhaps we can playtest to see that it's working right.. I don't mind that I am running into bugs at least I am contributing by encountering them

Sorry for the last post. Bug tracker registration angered me, finally no registration is needed!
I report this first bug #22903, I'm not familiar with bug reporting, thus if something is wrong let me know.
Also it will be nice if someone can explain me the easiest way to link screenshot. Mine are too large and I've had to rework with gimp.

Sadly I have problems reproducing the bugs.

This is what I did:
Connected to the mp server with two clients.
Played the first scenario of LoW.
The transition into scenario 2 went well.
The AI was also in control of both Olurf and the troll.

Are you all playing with the same version of Wesnoth?
