Glimpses of the future in dreams
Any of you believe in precognition and seeing the future in dreams? If you do, read on.
I've had two.
The first was a few weeks ago, when I saw in a dream someone draw a line on a whiteboard map and someone else rubbed it out partially before the dream vanished. Just yesterday, that happened, with the same people and colours involved in the same building. I also had a dream a little after that that happened today. I was watching a youtube video of a creepy game being played and the narrator started talking about grayscale/monochrome. That exact thing happened in a video on youtube of a creepy game by the same narrator.
Now I'm just hoping a few of my more... adult dreams come true.

Maybe that narrator has a persistent creepy grayscale problem?Flameslash wrote:I was watching a youtube video of a creepy game being played and the narrator started talking about grayscale/monochrome. That exact thing happened in a video on youtube of a creepy game by the same narrator.
I had a dream once that a cleaning lady in the restaurant I worked at that time was called to the phone and being told that her mother died. Freaked me out when exactly that happened a few weeks later. (Didn't even know that lady's name...)
Elaborate on your more... adult dreams.
I have a cunning plan.

Maybe you killed her mother to make it seem that way, and forgot you did so.nuorc wrote:Maybe that narrator has a persistent creepy grayscale problem?Flameslash wrote:I was watching a youtube video of a creepy game being played and the narrator started talking about grayscale/monochrome. Yeah, right, maybe...Flameslash wrote:Maybe you killed her mother to make it seem that way, and forgot you did so.
And maybe you see all day people fiddling around with lines on whiteboards, drawing and wiping them out again, no wonder you can't let go of that in your dreams.
I have a cunning plan.

Ever envy how little minors have to deal with insurances, taxes etc? I really dream about less of that; but that might not be adult...

I have seen a dream that I met zookeeper, then he told me about many of complicated WML.
I hope that the dream comes true... He was friendly and a nice person.Edited to add the first spoiler because of totally off-topic from this thread.

I didn't mean for it to be talked about, just put it there as a little joke.
Re: Glimpses of the future in dreams
Oh, we know you did.
About dreams: I think they are the cause of most of deja-vu's. Wouldn't call it a precognition, though.

Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?

I had a dream about weeds taking over the world, and the next day a ton of viny weeds had grown up in the lawn overnight. Really creeped me out.

I thought deja-vus are explained with some mis-firing in the brain, but I'd have to check the research on that. Usually I just keep away from stuff like precognition...Dunno wrote:About dreams: I think they are the cause of most of deja-vu's. Wouldn't call it a precognition, though.

Yeah, I also find it a frequent problem with people, that they behave different to what I'd want them to.Flameslash wrote:I didn't mean for it to be talked about

This happens to me every now and then. The weirdest thing is that it feels different to deja vu. As in, I can tell if its just deja vu, or I actually dreamed about it. They probably are just both the same thing, and I'm going insane.
My spritework can be seen here.
