One-click mouse? (Mac)

Post by 0xnard »

Is there any way I could still select a tile for recruitment/recalling? It's really affecting game play, because in a scenario where I start with multiple keeps/leaders, it's saying I have no more vacant tiles to recruit from. Thanks.

Already tried it. It doesn't work like it does on the desktop.

What computer are you using?
What version of Mac OS X do you have?
What version of Wesnoth are you playing in?
What scenario are you playing?

If you hover the mouse over the hex you want and then use the appropriate keyboard shortcut, the unit will appear there. Also, Wesnoth uses command-click for right clicks in my observation.

Do we still?

I seem to recall a conversation like this before, and my dislike for the nonstandard behavior. The system default for Mac OS X is control-click for secondary mouse button behavior; there’s no good reason to use a different modifier key. Ideally, Wesnoth should adopt control-click instead.

Whatever the merits, everything works for me just like Alarantalara said. Mac 10.6, and RC1.

Yeah, the default Mac right click is CTRL + click, but I do remember that before I bought my mighty mouse, Wesnoth seemed to do the Mac right click a bit differently, so Alarantalara must be right by saying its CMD + click...

You definitely have had this conversation before. You even submitted this bug report: http://gna.org/bugs/?15259
