A French who has questions.

Post by werners »

Hello, I am French. :D

I play wesnoth since its beginning, and I want to congratulate you on creating a game as wonderful.

I would like to present you with videos that I made on the battle for wesnoth.

I'm not here just to make me a boost, no, that would be really vulgar.

I also came to ask you this question:

Why not create a class or even a subject for those who do not speak English?
(It is possible that this is already happening, if so I apologize for the inconvenience)

I think this is a good idea, especially if these same people would need help.

In addition the game and the forum would have much more access.

That's all I have to say, I wish you good luck and a good late afternoon.

ps: Sorry if my English is a bit "prehistoric" I use google translation.

Thank you for reading.

The previous time this question was asked, the answer was that the problem is moderating in languages other than English.

Oh, yes, I forgot the question of moderation.

I think I have my answer, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

You can close my topic if you want.

No need to be sorry,
I have thought of this myself, mostly because I'm not that greate with spelling (in swedish or english but much worse with english). The posting guidelines (I think it was the guidelines, one of all the "read this before posting"-posts that nobody reads) suggests posting in english (using what little english you have, be it a secind language or translation software) and then also posting in your native language so that if there is anyone around they can help in your prefferd language and if not, you might be able to get something out of an english answer.

Aslo on a side note: In my experience splitting forums for language tends to lead to a lot of dead forums and people coming back to the english forum anyway because nobody answers in the other ones.

Indeed, making your own forum is probably the best solution.
