Favorite Piece of Art
I decided to make this thread, I suppose, because I think that art is an extremely important in the world today. I just wanted to know what everybody's favorite piece of art is. These can be pics, paintings, buildings, sculptures, etc.
My favorite is Einstein by Max Eberle.

National Geographic photo gallery, especially nature-related ones. Don't ask for a specific image, there're too much favorites

Wesnoth art, I like Doofus's portraits, but especially Bresda from Trinity. Arguably, her armour could be touched up, but her head and face is awesome. I know what she would look like if she were a real woman, if you know what I mean.

Real world art, Escher. I couldn't pick just one, they're all fantastic....but I can narrow it down to one gallery:

Re: Favorite Piece of Art
My favorite piece of art is the universe itself.
I often think of God as a master artist.
For my favorite painting, that would be Van Gogh's Starry Night.

I'll definately pay credit to that line of thought.
I cannot even imagine what it is like to design a physics system.
EDIT: To the extent of my knowledge, all attempts at emulating physics we have done have been attempts to emulate the physics we are all familiar with (and/or emulate it with tweaks). I was referring to coming up with a system from scratch (whatever that amounts to).

Yes, Fool is awesome to a very high degree of awesomeness. And actually, I don't really think his color count isn't all that excessive, considering the amount of canvas he has to play with. If anything, it's just the fact that he's got so many palettes for the different elements in the pieces. Although I really do wish he'd branch out a bit with his palette choices; he seems to stick to a few staple palettes for all his larger pieces (especially the yellow-ish rock palette).Frogger5 wrote:Thankyou for reminding me. Re: Favorite Piece of Art
If your picture is larger than like... 400px in either dimension, it'd probably be better to link to it with [url] than to embed it with [img]. Think of the dial up users! Also, stretching the pages is bad.

I can see why you wouldn't.artisticdude wrote:Um, no.Frogger5 wrote:
