Dragonfyre: Essence of Life Online Tabletop RPG

I got told by a few people after my post in "RPG in development" that this post would be accepted. Well, here is the information.

Disliking current RPGs because they are not detailed enough, I have eowkred over the past few weeks to design an RPG that has aspects of real life; Love, Racism, Predjudices, Caste systems, Sexism, Slavery, and much more. My plan is to turn Dragonfyre into THE RPG out there, even if that is a good long ways off.

The point of this post is to introduce people to a new tabletop RPG. One that is not all about killing, Dungeon running, or even a set campaign. I wanted to tell people that the tabletop RPG genre is NOT a static, boring grindfest. I want to introduce people to a game more like the sims in its complexity, living life, running adventures, and experiencing the world to its fullest.

Also, my RPG intriduces a dynamic, changing world that the players can actually influence and control. Players that perform feats that are legendary become heroes, immortalized in the history of the game itself. Players that do things that gods ask them, and perform them well and above and beyond their station sometimes get promoted to the Godly Pantheon. Death even brings new life, as the Void is intriduced, the space between galaxies that holds all life when it loses its mortal coil.

The time has come. The Dawnbreakers have arrived.

They are Legion.
They are Order.
They are Justice.

The silence of Eternity cannot hold them. The beating hearts of the Souls too pure, too fragile for this world. They are cast out of the Void, throwing themselves back into the world with but one name on their lips.

Dawnbreaker.

Fighting for justice, order, and the very souls of the people who work against them, they are often called excessive and violent by those who wish to bring them down, fighting against their work to right the wrongs in the world.

Some say they were made by the Great Dragon.
Others say they are the Ancients themselves, reborn to the world to bring light from the darkness.

Their true nature eludes even the Six Scholars, whom knew nothing of their very existence before the New Age. However, their powers are unmatched, be it by Dragon or Mortal alike, none can surpass their ability to speed and magic.

The air was shrill that night. Noone will ever forget how cold the air was, or what came next; the changing of the world.

The heavens themselves opened, and the Great Dragons Roared around the world as the light of their godhood was nearly extinguished by a new dark plague that descended into the world.

The Twilight.

Screeching with deadly cries from their ancient rest, they had finally been awakened. The Twilight. The slayers of the Ancient Ones.

The Great Dragon and his mate, Vecna, descended into the wold with their brood to stop this madness from spreading, only to find the plague too great, to evil to contain. It infected those who approached it, like a virus, cursing any who were tainted by its touch to fall prey to the Final Twilight, the Lord of Eternity.

The Dragons were summoned, and war began. A mindless war, meant to protect the world as they had stopped Illerin. But it was not enough.

The forces of the Twilight ripped through the already-thinned forces of the mortals, their lines weak from the recent calamities. They swept through the land like a plague, but then, the Dragons arrived.

Not mustering a force this large since the Sealing Wars, the Dragons collected their brothers and sistrs from every clan around the world. Even those few who had once been touched by the corrupted taint of Illerin and mastered control of it came to aid their brothers and sisters against this new menace.

But it was not enough.

The Twilight was unending, forcing its way through the Reclamation portal. They tore apart the dragons, their gutteral screams enjoying the carnage and silver blood of the great beasts.

All hope seemed lost, and the Great Dragons and the Gods themselves were forced back to a last stand at the foot of Mount Fyzar. But then, there was the sound of a distant trumpet.

Throguh the reclamation Portal came armies, dressed in armor of pure light and robes of gold silk. They attacked the forces of Twilight from the Portal itself, forcing them away from the Portal as they sealed it. The Twilight screamed together, their voices causing mortal ears to bleed and the Gods to double over in pain. But these new soldiers were not effected.

Forcing the taint back to a distant corner of the continent, they finally revealed their names to the world, their leaders climbing high into the sky on pure white wings.

Seems to me a more specific version of http://www.yourole.net/, an Italian project, free as a beer, that allow you to create virtual table with all the functions of a real table (map drawing, dice rolls and so on) to play from your home at your beloved rpg.
