grammar picking: its controller's, not it's controllers. Possessive apostrophes are difficult.

Also, it's its, not it''s. (it's would mean it is or some other contraction with a second word collapsing to 's')

Nitpick: He already said it.AI wrote:Also, it's its, not it''s. (it's would mean it is or some other contraction with a second word collapsing to 's')

LightFighter:
AI was referring to the description text in eyerouges image, I think.
There are two instances of the same mistake (it's -> its): line 2 (as mentioned by thespaceinvader) and also in line 3
To the image:
Great
Even if the face doesn't really fit with the bloody knife, I think it would be really great to see this suddenly in a game ... awesome

Yes, of course you swim better with it...

Warning: breasts:
Re: WTactics: Original-art-give-back
The solution is pretty simple. We put it in a spoiler tag, and then people only get to see it if they want to.

Re: WTactics: Original-art-give-back
Unfortunately (IIRC), since it's a fantastic quality portrait, a decision was reached regarding this issue when the Initiate first got a new portrait, and it came down against showing breasts in mainline portraits. So this is one we'll have to miss out on, unless we censor it.
The other issue with it is the hair - very little merfolk dialogue takes place underwater, since they talk in air, and their gills can't sustain them permanently underwater.

Re: WTactics: Original-art-give-back
IIRC, no decision was actually reached, but the artist added some algae clothing that actually made the portrait better, making the whole discussion irrelevant.
Regarding merfolk language, a script and phoneme-set for underwater use (sounds dolphin-like) were developed a while back, which showed up in a portrait. They don't use it in campaigns (yet) for both story and gameplay reasons.

Double-trouble...
Re: WTactics: Original-art-give-back
Hopefully the guy on the horse is a loyalist, though his armor looks slightly orc. Then again, the orcs steal armor from the loys, right? Orcs only ever ride wolves anyways.
That battering ram is really awesome.

Re: WTactics: Original-art-give-back
It's probably an Orc. And yeah, orc could steal armor, but in WT orcs are socialists and they just take back what was stolen from them to begin with from the nobility. Also, orcs in WT see no reason for why they shouldn't ride a horse if the opportunity was there and the situation demanded it.Zerovirus wrote:Then again, the orcs steal armor from the loys, right? Thanks, I'll relay that to the artist. That battering ram is really awesome.
