Indeed, as long as they stay away from some of the UMC, they are safe.

Though I suppose if they were to ride a horse through a forest at full speed, getting it caught on a tree branch could be a comparable injury.

I would rather get caught on a treebranch than sucked into a jet engine and ripped to teeny tiny paper-bits (or possibly a human-hamburger patty).

Indeed, it's not the best comparison given the two vastly different time periods, but I do what I can. What about jumping down from a wall and the cape getting caught at the top? Ouch.

That's precisely why the orcs would avoid sturdy construction, it needs to break if their capes get caught.

A cape might also get caught on a chair or other household object, which could cause embarrassment if an orc got caught on something like that in front of an important chieftain. :lol2:

Well, that depends; get caught in a wose and he'll probably rip you to pieces… :lol2:

I'd say a Wose would crush you into an orc-hamburger patty...

Instead of a cape, maybe it is a cloak.

In which case, maybe the orcs have seen The Incredibles, but just haven't noticed the similarities between the two objects.

Why does this not surprise me? :|

Goblins, on the other hand, don't wear any capes, probably because authority is inversely related to intelligence.

I think you mean directly... Inversly would mean that the more authority you have the less intelligent you are.

Though I could probably cite a few examples for either end of the stick. :hmm:

Yes, that's what I meant. Goblins actually make the connection.

That the responses it garnered were in relation to how important the question really was...
