perhaps because no unit like "f3 windsong arbiter" exists ;)

you have to look inside the cfg to see the corredt unit ID.

for the windsong arbiter it is :
"Windsong Arbiter"

and capitalization DOES matter here.
the filename is NOT the ID

btw:

nope.

as long yu have the ERA installed you dont have to "install" it manually in your campaign or SCN.
it will work if you use the correct ID's

Ok, got the other map uploaded. So the 2 new maps are SXGE_Mythos (era of myths) and SXGE_Extedn (extended MP era). I also changed some cosmetics in a couple of the older ones, so go redownload SXGolbEd again :P Thanks for all the help Mabuse! You've helped countless times and I think I may be done for a while with new maps. I'll see how well these go over before I try any non-default era maps at least.

I just played golbeezes map ramblin with lester and a few other guys, they all died by like turn 20, but THE WALL beat the rest of the map on his own. All I can say is drain on a shieldbearer is broken. Here's the replay, I have some insane killing sprees :P

Anybody know how I could add something to the shop for a specific difficulty? For example: A 999-999 sword of unfairness only available on Simple? :lol2: Great example! What I'm actually thinking though, is putting a stronger berserk sword on mad mode. Is it possible?

Of course it's possible.
When they select difficult do this:
Save a variable with difficulty:
simple == 1
easy == 2
and so on up to mad == 5.

So you have this variable 'difficultySelected'
Then in the shop,
if 'difficultySelected == 5', then it's mad mode, and you can display that 'mad mode' shop option.

Sorry there is no way I'm going to remember WML off the top of my head.

ps. just make a sword of death, 100% chance to hit and wml kill on hit, with firststrike. Zeus's idea.
pps Or just make the 999-999 sword with damage type 'n00b', nothing resists it so it'll be at 0%.

:lol2: The 999-999 was just a joke. I would like to have a separate shop for mad mode where the berserk is stronger. That is all. I'll check it out, thanks.

hi, despite i wasnt able to hold 14th as a deadline, it looks good that i may be able to hold 17th as a dedline and present at least SOMETHING at sunday

as a little appetizer i post a list of special items that can be found:

2x Defring (+10 for all defenses)
2x Resring (+10 for all resistances)
1x cornucopia of fortune: +20% for all gold from kills
1x sceptre of cantar: +50% damage for self and adjacant own and allied units
(non cumulative leadership)
1x sword of the crusader: +25% damage for self and adjacant own and allied units
(non cumulative leadership)
1x necklace of protection: +20% resistance for fire, cold and arcane
1x Icearmor: +20% resistance for cold
1x firearmor: +20% resistance for fire
1x spiritstaff: +20% resistance for arcane
1x cloak of flying: reduce movement for most terrain to 1

the items are of course usually well hidden and protected, one defring is placed at a (more or less) good to reach location to allow "dogers" to perform something like a strategy

of course there will be also chests with gold and yellow (superheal, non carryable), red (carryable healing) and blue (carryable +5move, +1attack, +150 HP (beyond maximum)) Potions
