I think it's better to remove the bow in attack frames, or the sword depending on what attack. Like this you could also re-use certain frames (this is done with the elves at the moment)

/me disagrees... The current elvish archer retains the bow in the melee frames.

My archer is based on the existing archer attack frame. I'd rather not remove the bow; I don't want the sprite to be too similar to the base, but I don't want it to be unrecognisably different, either. Thus I'd rather keep the bow in the attack frame.

Made/modified sprites to make two frames based on Verdanna's suggestions in the other thread.
