I've made his torso a bit bigger, and recolored the bow. I don't know exactly what to do with the sword arm, however.

Lose the sword. Like the wood-elven archer, the unit only needs to show his primary weapon. Cramming both of them in there looks crowded and awkward.

In addition to removing the sword, I've redone his right arm and legs so that he may look a bit more like the fighter.

I think it's better to remove the bow in attack frames, or the sword depending on what attack. Like this you could also re-use certain frames (this is done with the elves at the moment)

/me disagrees... The current elvish archer retains the bow in the melee frames.

My archer is based on the existing archer attack frame. I'd rather not remove the bow; I don't want the sprite to be too similar to the base, but I don't want it to be unrecognisably different, either. Thus I'd rather keep the bow in the attack frame.

EDIT: Made the defend frame

Would be best to have the bow and bow arm move (to cover his face). Looks a little wierd with it staying the same

Made/modified sprites to make two frames based on Verdanna's suggestions in the other thread.
