Colors are looking good, although in the young malin sketch the rest of his body looks rather like a block.

A minor detail to me, but in the older Malin portrait the rope thingy from his cap is looking weird. It looks like it is an enlongment of his left side of the cap.
Also his right eyebrow is shining perfectly through his hair, maybe fading it a little more would be better

Don't let you get down by the comments though, it's great work you're doing here :D Keep it up!

They're not two characters, they're both the same character.
That's embarassing.

The figure on the bottom left (young Malin) looks a lot like the woman on the top left (Dela?) and I thought it was another picture of her.

I think all three pictures look overly similar (eyes, nose, chin and hair).

If the top left picture is also Malin, please disregard.

The younger Malin looks definitely male in the coloured version to me. As long as the picture of the woman will look like one as well the similiarity is perfectly fine for me. They're brother and sister after all...

[OT]Amusing fact: in Sweden, Malin is a girl's name ;)[/OT]

All of those can be easily fixed. And I almost forgot to remove the eyebrow. I drew it in just to get it place properly

Thanks for pointing those out

And in India, Anya is a boy's name! (or at least I knew one named that)

Someone ought to create a standardisation body for names... or at least submit an RFC! :D

There are many names which differ in gender for some country pairs. There's little use in identifying them all. Just make sure they're right for english and correct them in translations. Preferably with something close to the original to allow talking about the campaign in english.

I still got the impression that the head is slightly too big.
And a chin that can go though walls though the last part is just personal perception so you can pretty much ignore it. :)

What can I say, I'm 20-- I still got a lot to learn :P

Here is this better?

As for the facial features- I like them. They arent grotesquely exaggerated and I think it ties the related characters together.

I really like those portraits. I actually love them.
One thing I find great - although I am not sure if it is intended - is that the young Malin looks still a bit "boyish" to me while the old Malin doesn't.
I was working on the proof of one of my poems all the morning, and took out a comma. In the afternoon I put it back again. -- Oscar Wilde

Even not much older I have to learn even more and yes it looks better.

For the last.

Art is pretty much in the eye of the viewer.
