I'll post an ogre here, not that it has anything to do with undead, just for the fun of it.

And that fishy will have his north and south attacks sooner of later.

That's massive alright. One of these days you have to teach me how to pixel and shade muscles like that.

Wouldn't he look even better with a slightly bigger head? The head-to-body correlation seems to be reaching the red light, they hardly match now.

We'll see to that then.

Indeed. I tend to leave the head quite small when making over-muscular giants. I'll check how it looks with a bigger head.

Oh, and the sushi of death goes north and south now too:

He'd look right at home in "Fist of the North Star".

So, the soulless swimmer needed a new sprite (also, knock knock you adder-of-stuff, that zombie fish is all set) and I tried out some things.

I got a sprite done... and I fear he's way too buffed. Indeed, he's bigger than the level 3 troll.
I'll be trying something else. You can suggest things as well.

HAHAHAHA. :D Awesome.

Actually, I might take a swing at animating couple of these, just to help get this project off your back, since it is a big one.

Thanks! :D
Save your breath for the soulless drake. Animating the zombie version was already extra difficult for me.

Just a re-color to make it easier to distinguish WC from SL.
I don't know what you guys think about it, maybe too lighty (snow-corpses)?

Just trying to help.
Hugs!

@Eternal:

You're doing a great work.

Only a thing intrigues me.
I think that the orc-soulless is very similar to the orc grunt.

Well, let me explain, the human-soulless is very different to any human-soldier, so any human-soldier can become a zombie/soulless with that human-soulless sprite, and it will see ok.

I think that what makes the magic with the human-zombie sprite is that he does not have armor, so any human-soldier can become that human-zombie.

But I think that not all orcs will fit with that orc-soulless sprite, maybe you must try to make one for general orcs, not based in one sprite. Well, nobody knows, but maybe later in the game somebody adds a new unit to the orcs that will be very different from the grunt, and your soulless will not fit, so, better prevent it.

Well, it's my suggestion.

cheers!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the big orc variant gets used ONLY for the Grunt, so it makes sense to look similar. All the other orcs turn into the generic soulless AFAIK.

How does this look for a fish soulless?
Good? Bad? Something between? :hmm:

I should get some sleep now... Some unexpected thingies have been keeping me busy. We need a sleepy emoticon.
