Deleting campaigns?
It would be really handy to be able to delete campaigns. Either be under the campaigns screen or the Add-Ons screen (or both) seems like a sensible place for the option.

Whoops, I didn't think about it like this at first (Yeah, you know, my OS is Windows...). Well, then I think it's a reasonable idea.Na'enthos wrote:That depends on your operating system.Clonkinator wrote:Is it really that much work to go to your user-data directory and delete them by your own hand?

It isn't actually more work on other Operating Systems as it is on Windows. The thing is that it would ease things for ordinary players, I mean players who just play and don't really want to care about such details, and by that questions like zookeeper mentioned are less likely to keep your thoughts away from more important stuff.Clonkinator wrote:Whoops, I didn't think about it like this at first (Yeah, you know, my OS is Windows...). I know how to delete a campaign by hand, and I would still use the feature if I wanted to delete a campaign.Clonkinator wrote:Is it really that much work to go to your user-data directory and delete them by your own hand?
And probably not every user of BfW knows how to delete them by hand.
First read, then think. Read again, think again. And then post!
I agree on this totally.
Good idea. If a program can add something, then the program should be also able to remove it.
Also I think clicking on something is more convenient than
cd into a dir and
rm-ing it more so since a user probably has to invest a little time to
find out where this stuff is, and we all know sometimes users make
mistakes too ...so this idea is very nice IMHO :>
