German translation up to date?

Post by Michael »

Is the German translation up to date, or is there any work needed? While I play Wesnoth in English, German is my native language, and I'd be happy to contribute. Since I can't program well in C and make a lousy pixel artist, translation work is one area where I could actually give back something to the project. :)

I was afraid someone would recommend to play in German to see if any improvements are needed. :p I'll do that, though. I might tackle the manual, if no one else is working on this already.

Okay, the German translation is definitely in need of some work. Plenty of labels and text messages are not translated, and -- more importantly -- the tutorial is messed up: Delfador's text is that of Konrad, and vice versa. Going to figure out how to submit changes, and then I'll work a bit on this over the next few days.
