With the production of wesnoth RPG and board game, I thought: hmm a wesnoth game in the Warhammer style would be really cool--pewter figurines and the likes.

Sorry for the brain spasm :)

maybe when I'm in charge of some sort of game company*hmm*

if you says a RPG...

A board game... is interesting... you only have to know all % rules and smash your table with a 10 faces dice (D10)...

Screw the warmhammer part of it, I'd just by Wesnoth figurines if they were done well.

I'd prefer to just make Wesnoth units in LEGO form. ;)

If you do, we all want to see the pictures!

;) I would, but I don't have a digital camera. :? Maybe I can use a cell-phone camera - although I haven't yet figured out how to get images from the phone to the computer.

Yay for Castley Lego! I'm another fan of it. Poor thing, blond-haired elves are still rare.

Ps. I just found your Brickshelf folder. I'll send you a few ideas for Lego Wesnothian kite shields soon.

Cool.

I have plans to put up pictures of my castles there (I have a white one reminiscent of Gondolin or Tuna, and a dark castle or some sort), but I haven't gotten around to it.

Now that I think about it, LEGO's are perfect for Wesnoth characters since they're kinda like 3D pixels.

What sort of phone? I've managed to pull images off my Motorola using moto4lin, both over the USB cable and via Bluetooth.

I think wesnoth is more like Confrontation than WarHammer.

I actually made some LEGO wesnoth minifigures: a mage (probably Great, but I could use him as Arch), a warrior who reminds me of a Royal Guard, a monk-guy who could be a MoL, an archer, maybe a human master bowman; then some evil guys, plus a skeleton with an axe who looks like a Revenant, and a troll with a hammer. Legos rock.
hey.

How'd you get a troll?

----

The more interesting units I have are:
* A caravan, such as those seen in Flight to Freedom and Fall of Silvium
* Goblin wolf riders (3 of them)
* A giant scorpion
* A mermaid (man?)
* A Lich-Lord (although it certainly isn't Mal-Ravanal)
* Two marauder axemen (made mostly from the Lego Viking sets)

I also have a bunch of cavalry, archers, spearmen, and three non-Wesnoth units - a chariot, an elephant, and a mumakil.

I do Wesnoth characters too - so far, I have Rugnur, Thursagan, Alanin, and Noiraran (a rather obscure Thunderguard) from SoF, as well as a cave set up for them to hide out in and forge the Sceptre.

... so, uh, yeah, I like LEGOs. :P
