You can zoom in and out the terrain, and as I'm using a single image and not tilsets to draw the terrain, it is pixelised when using full zoom.

I will try to make it nicer in the next versions using either tilesets or a more detailed image

but as you can see on this screenshot it is okay when using middle zoom

Yes , it is turn based but it is animated

It can
It is a multi player game.

Each player can fight against the armies of virtual enemies (artificial intelligence) or against other players on a network or on the same computer.

The network can be a LAN (local area network) but you can also play with other players through the internet provided you know the IP address of the one who is hosting the game (I never tested it but theorically this should work).

Network game is not fully debugged yet but I am working on it.

Post by farfpeuf »

I just uploaded a new version of the game on the web site (0.7)
I did not add new features but I corrected a lot of bugs and changed a little bit the game rules
The new features like campaign mode will be in the next version

I found 2 bugs.
First, i've to say that i'm under XP, and the JRE 1.4 is installed.

The first bug pops when the first time i launch the .bat : He want to extract ogg but the bar progression stays at 0. The Console says: "exception in thread "main" java.langnoclassdeffounderror: [...]

Ok, at that time seeing that the wav extracting was bugging, i cancelled, and tried again. The game screen pop up. I try to play, but the loading stays at 0% I guess it's all about the ogg extracting.

Of course, i run the game from the jar file directory.

i run the game from the jar file directory.
You shall not unpack the jar
Just unzip fb_07.zip and double click on the .bat

I'm having the same problem as Panda_, on Windows XP with JRE 5.0 Update 6, and haven't unpacked the jar-file. I'm trying to use version 0.7, 0.6b worked fine.

Oups, I see now
I had forgotten a part of the classpath in the .bat file.
