Xan: everything inside the [female] tag was unchanged.

Player: yes it does, try downloading it again, or if it still doesn't work then start the games from a command line, load the scenario, and tell me what the command line says.

I uploaded a new version that will update those now.

Ok, I'll use it in my next update.

I'm just glad I found it before a whole host of campaigns got these errors. :D

BTW the 1.1 server is really empty, I seem to remember aelius promising to put the north wind up there, but i haven't seen it.

ben wrote:I'd recommend dashes at the interruptions, like this:

"Along side the the road to Barnabon w–"

(and actually, in that case I'd make it "wh–" instead of "w–", so that the word being interrupted is easily deducible.)

(also, "alongside" is one word, and I wouldn't capitalize it--it's not the start of a new sentence, it's the continution of the sentence in the previous line.)

Without the dashes, the first half of each interruption looks like a typo. With them, it's instantly clear what's going on.
Okay

Also, I just noticed I made a mistake with Jack's dialogue. When he says "I've seen you trraining with Tom and Matt. As I can tell, you're pretty good."

I should be "As far as I can tell."

If by same level you mean sneaking around then it is a problem I have had before, apparently you can't just add to a recruitment list, you have to use allow recruit. I think that the problem is that you are either allowed to recruit in Fleeing east, or this one. Did you kill Sir Guane or not? (I need to know before I continue explaining.)

I think the can not recruit problem in earlier versions of your campaign was caused by units with bad ids in the recruit list (especially those with ":" or "_" in the id). After deleting those units out of the recruit list in my saves, i could recruit again.
The "-" in the ids causes problems with the statistics section of the game (after saving and reloading i got some warnings of unexpected characters and all units with "-" in their id are kicked out of the recruit, kills, losses and advances statistics, recruiting units with "-" does work).
I did use 1.0rc1 when i experienced those problems, testing with 1.02 the problem with "-" is still there. (windows 98, german PC, but with English as selected language)
One more point: You can just add a unit to the recruit list.
