Let's add the fangs to the list..

EDIT: About the bow composition. In my opinion, your composition is far too static to be an attack icon, compared to other icons. On the other hand my version ain't very universal for every bow-using unit. What if there was a bow with an arrow ready to shoot, without the aiming hand?

Lucifer - The Morning Star

Leonhard made the 3d sketch, so you can't blame only me. :)

Really, the pixeling of the chain was a lot easier task to do on a rendered model with rough lighting. Thank you!

And about the bow sketch: It was only a rough sketch.

New stuff in the form of new staffs:

EDIT: About 1/3 of the all new attack icons are somewhat done now. Neat!

I've done an entangle too (seems there's a lack of coordination :D ). Well there is one with blood, and one without.

EDIT : I think that, in any case, they need a little change in color, but I've been unable to do it, don't know why. If pekka's entangle is chosen, this is not a very useful statement, anyway :) .

Thanks for the comments, (and not only because they made me laugh :P ). BUT (there always is a but) ... In fact I was going to say I didn't know what "wrinkle" meant, but I decided to be a bit more constructive for one time, so I searched in a dictionnary. What I wanted to say about wrinkles (which could possibly save me the work to touch to this hand again 8) ) is that at 50*50, I think you would not see them. For the nails, you're right, I should change the color. I post the small versions for you to see how they will appear in game.

[EDIT] now that they are on my screen, it appears wrinkles indeed are necessary... :? too bad.

Hah! This is hard to hear... Well if this is the case, nevermind, pekka did the right icon I think :) .

I post back the old entangle icon, for those who don't want to browse over the whole thread to see it (it seems rougher than before, because I post the image without any effect, it is more easy to modify).

Here is a shield attack, and another version of the curse (which was quiet long to do). Comments? Which one do you prefer? :)

I've committed the following to SVN trunk, although in retrospect, I think I'm probably going to tweak the sabre just a bit (Darth Fool and I made an executive decision that all wesnothian rapiers will have their name changed to "sabre" if they have a blade attack - it should shut some people up about how it should be reflected as piercing in-game). Something is just a little funny about the blade-hilt interface right now, but it should be an easy fix.

These blades are just for the humans, the elves will have their own, more graceful looking blades, the orcs will have their own, more crude looking blades.

On a side note - Eleazar has opted to wire these into the WML, bless his heart. I'll make good on that by cranking out more on my end.

As I said, I have made a new sword icon. It is based on the new Konrad As I said before, I have drawn a new sword icon. It is based on the new Konrad portrait again, so it can't be used as orcish sword. On the other hand it hasn't enough decorations for an elvish sword. But maybe it could be used only by Konrad then?

Leonhard made the 3d sketch of it.

Hello there! Haven't been near a connection for a little while, so the silence. Irrevenenant, I'll stop working on the lightning, I much prefer the direction you've taken (well that's only my opinion, if everybody here wants you to stop and me to go on, I'll comply :P ). Anyway I like it very much, and I also would like to work on something else. I think I'll try a square shield as asked before in the thread.

I tried to improve the claws a bit. There weren't an icon for the fist of a troll? Well, now there is.
