network conection help required

how do i conect to a game being hosted on my network?

In multiplayer menu go to 'join game'. When prompted, enter the IP address or hostname of the hosting server.

ok,. im the guest btw, forgot to log in, how do you find a hosting server, the official one doesn't work for me.

dude i was the guest and i figured it out i actually had to punch in the port number as well so it was 192.168.2.4:15000 but i figured it out thx for anwsering anyway
