Mwahahahaha! I played Wesnoth longer than ALL of you!!!
*Counts his fingers*
only 89%....
I started Wesnoth at 0.5.... stopped when 0.6 came out... the sole reason was the undead music.... then I really missed the game... I got 0.699 or something, and then learned to turn the sound off when playing undead levels....
And then I stopped again.... at 0.7 something... and started back in 0.9...
That was because
*sniffs*
I went to vacation for couple of months....
When I came back, updated the system to (either jaguar or panther, cant remember) and then I forgot to transfer the stuff to the new one, lost everything including wesnoth, and forgot what it was called....

*year or so later*

And then I spotted it on macgamesfiles with the new release...

:) Yay!

(as you can see I registered for the forum in 2003.... but the only 3 posts before this year was on the same day I registered, about a bug... "no hp bars at night" and the bug that prevented me from seeing ANY text at all)

hmm... Now I recall! The first time I left was because of that bug!!!

Not quite, I started playing the earliest mac release of wesnoth there was 4.8. ( I used 5.0 on the poll though cause that was the first mac version that ran well enough for me to 'play'. You did beat me to the forum by a day though.

1 campaign, 3 multiplayer maps (orcs, humans and elves, no dwarves, no drakes, saurians were with orcs), old logo and very exepensive units (IIRC 22 for an archer)

Saurians were never around when there was only one campaign, I assure you. You're mixing up versions. Most probably, Saurians did not exist in the first version you played.

But back then I thought they were overpowered...

NO

Saurians were not around until 0.7.7. You're about 6 months off.

Check the changelog if you don't trust me.

did you have to ask him how to beat the first httt scenario?
one of mi erecently did, and I'm guessing that all newbies who hav e an experienced friend do, given that its a bit tough for them.

Oh no look out its a ray gun.
You should move to avoid the rays
the rays are coming out of the gun
if you are hit by the rays
you will be shot by the rays
the rays are fast so you should be fast to
can you win against the fast rays from the gun?
