Thanks, that's great! I'll check what other tweaks it might need (I guess it should have 1MP on sand...) and put it in ASAP.

I find the sprite very dark from the darker parts. Here's a suggestion with less darkness.

Obviously the author is a lazy [censored] or was very busy IRL.
Hopefully he'll come back to finish what he promised to do and maybe even more.

Here is a quick draft at the dwarvish miners attack animtion.

Maybe it could need some more pictures in between.

It probably needs at least one more image in the middle. Also, if it had one, a "mining" animation could be made. it could be used as an idle animation when the unit is next to a cave wall.

Looks pretty good to me. If you're willing to make more frames then even better.

Yeah, I think that'll do. Can you post the individual frames?
Elvish_King wrote:What other animations are needed?
For the miner? Just defense, I suppose. Of course you can do standing and movement animations too and north-facing versions of everything, but attack and defense are the important ones to have.

I think I prefer doing attack and defend animations for other units than doing standing or movement animations which are not so important. (Due to that not every mainline unit has these animations)

Great, thanks, they're in now. I made a few minor tweaks to a few frames (mostly fixing some holes).

I'll add you to the campaign credits too if you say how you want to be named there.

Looks like I've forgotten to post that these are now in too (with some modifications in the .cfg and a few things such as the attack icon that I still intend to tweak).

Heir to the Throne: Needs better sprites for Li'sar.
I took a stab at those sprites, tried to keep her loyalist-y without making her just look like swordsman with long hair. The lvl2 especially needs more work, but I just wanted to see if it was an acceptable idea.
She needs to keep one hand free for the sceptre.

Oh, those look pretty good! Jetrel will probably chime in on some technical stuff, but for me the main thing that could use improvement is the pose; she's sort of just standing there being rather... well, wooden. Arguably that applies to a lot of units, but with her being a unique character and not just a nameless military grunt, it'd be nice if she had a bit more dynamic pose, either looking regal and classy and/or in a ready stance of some kind.

Also, she's really buff. At lvl3 she's wider than a General, and even the lvl2 is considerably beefier than a Swordsman (not necessarily in terms of actual number of pixels, but what the impression is). Even with avoiding female stereotypes and all that, I don't think she should be quite that beefy.

The head and shoulders look a pixel or two too far back in the second frame. The hair palette could use some work, and I think they could be maybe one or two pixels shorter. Besides that, nice work :)
