Ok, here's to calling the kettle black. It shouldn't be. Try making it a lighter shade of gray. This will allow you to create a more 3d feel by using different shades. The kettle will still look black, it just will now also not look flat.

Also, it should look more black toward the bottom, where the flames make it sooty.

k, some UI images (not worthy their own topic, although unrelated to this). the smileys are for the "friend" tag (currently has a "!" image), the flag is the turn flag (it was attached to the pole really weird before; also, the pole was too dark for the black background).

I'm not too fond of the "friend" icons, however, the flag icon is a definite improvement over the current image in svn, and I've committed it. Thanks for taking the initiative! :)

Sorry, i´m very busy with my Diploma thesis.

I added the files from the Enhantress Statue... and the .xcf include layers from the rest. But on them are many things to do like light, shadows and differential look (ruined, plants...).
