They all look really great, and I do believe that is meant to be a ribbon.

It's a ribbon, yes... It was rather hard to put some TC on him since the original unit didn't even have any rags or clothes of any sort.

Here's another new variation: Naga. EDIT: ... which btw had no TC. Eaasy tweak.

I prefer the naga much more over the merman, and I like the new avatar.

I have to agree with Oreb, I just can't figure out what is what on the mermen zombie...

And an attack frame for every single one of 'em.
You should check the zip out, especially those who are unsure about the merman.

PS. Ogres are so rare, I'm not going to make a zombie variation for them... yet.

his really brief avater has to be turned into an icon for something in the game...it was so perfect!

Eternal seems to make as many avatar's as he does art.

Yeah. These rock.

Shame on me for having a lack of imagination: "Gosh, the current WC's look fine to me, but go ahead and replace them if you think it's necessary." Oops.

These are great, and since no good deed goes unpunished, I will not feel bad about pointing out what is lacking: the north and south attack frames. They have a cold place in my heart as I originally drew most of them in order to get neorice's zombie variety into an acceptable condition for mainline. It would be a shame to take a step forward in artwork, but lose the directional animations.

Yup, working on 'em.
I'm going to post north attacks in their own post and south attacks after that.

Don't forget a directional defend frame while you're adding the directional attack frames!

Yeah, please don't forget that, otherwise it'll look simply bad. Directional standing frames too (for use in between defense and attack animations), although making all three (attack, defend, standing) yields such synergy bonuses that this shouldn't really require much extra effort at all.

Well you can include whichever frames you like, as long as you make sure all the variation of the Walking corpse have the same number of frames. (Idem for Soulless, through the Soulless don't have necessarily the sames frames as the Walking corpses)

Currently the frame set is (for both Walking Corpse and Soulless) :
- 1 standing frame
- 1 frame animation for attack in 3 directions (North, South and diagonal)
- 3 frames animation for death

About variations, the Walking Corpse and Souless must have the same variations
For 1.2 we need to stick to these variations :
- Zombie (default)
- Drake
- Swimmer
- Troll
- Wose
- Saurian
- Mounted

For trunk (1.3) we 'll be happy to include some new variations (like the dwarf and naga).
