mine is actually the latest(1.1),,,and the latest invasion of arendia...


their ids are actually right,,,but the problem is,,i cant recruit....


prolly ranger m can explain it cause his saying something about tthe scenario b4 it...

Did you start Invasion of Arendria with the last version?
Did you check the recruit key in your save?
The 1.02 version of Fleeing east still has recruit=...,B_Rogue Mage.

You right, (so does the version for 1.1)

I'll upload a fix when I go home (hopefully this sunday)

for now just change it to a "-".

I'm getting a bug in the 1.1 version which makes all ranged attacks behave like melee attacks - troops without a ranged attack can retaliate against one. Graphics show a melee attack, but you hear the ranged-attack sound. Are you aware of this?

I know about it, but don't understand the reason.

I think that the problem has something to do with the ranges changing. In 1.1 there are now custom ranges, which should operate under the fact that anything with the same range can retaliate against something attacking it, but I don't know how it works.

could somebody who understands this explain it to me, I don't know exactly how it has been done.

It could be that it has only been implimented in the SVN...

The current 1.1 release does not have the ranges changed.

nope, definately not done yet, this campaign finishes in about 8-10 more scenarios, but the next one (which uses different leaders and is after this one) will continue after that, if I get round to making it...

Don't worry, I'll be fixing the ranges on Sunday (If I go home)

Great campaign well done Ranger M.
Black Hand Attack is one of the better campaign levels I have played on Wesnoth.

I always had trouble with that one, I just couldn't resist going into the water to finish them off, and then there was the fact that Jack carried on loosing on his bit because he did that very thing (I might put an avoid water thing into the AI on that level, although I would need to find a suiltable time to cancel it, otherwise he would never attack the black hand bases on the other side of the river.)

sorry for the lack of an update on Sunday, I couldn't go home because my f**king housemaster insisted on making me play in a house basketball tournament,and then only put me on for five minuites :evil: .

but soon Reth will have a portrait :D , so I hope that that makes up for it.

As long as we can figure out a reason for the ranged attack/melee defense thing, it's all good.

It's quite disconcerting trying to attack wraiths with a whole heap of ranged attacks and getting drained at the same time.

If you want someone to draw stuff like backgrounds/etc for you, I'm a bit of a pencil artist.
