It could be the positioning of the forum itself. Multiplayer and Campaigns are of interest to regular users, but they're buried at the bottom of the developer section.

In terms of appropriateness, there probably isn't a thread more suited for S&C than this one.

OK, so at least some of the campaign authors have found this useful (thanks for the feedback). At least some people must be reading it then; I'll keep maintaining the status report for the time being.

Most user campaigns are now much less broken, possibly due to my insistent nagging of campaign authors. Please let this thread die (ie. unsticky it).

I'll maintain the list at the Wiki in future. The first post in the thread has been changed to point to the Wiki page.

It should be like this

Code: Select all

author="Disto"
icon="halo/white-mage-halo2.png"
passphrase=""
title="A Seed of Evil"
version="0.5-nonlinear"
description="A campaign following the leader, Disto, acting as the principle general of the great Queen Asheviere through her reign of terror, it describes the happenings through the reign. 14 different non-linear scenarios and new graphics."

That's the one i use for my campaign. And it should located in the folder where Wesnoth downloads your campaigns too. I don't know what operating system it is you use but good luck with it.

YOu use Linux, right?

Put the .pbl in the same directory as the campaign itself - .wesnoth/data/campaigns/. Make sure you also have the CAMPAIGN.cfg file there too.
For I am Turin Turambar - Master of Doom, by doom mastered. On permanent Wesbreak. Will not respond to private messages. Sorry!
