[campaign] Unlikely Companions advertising for collaborators

This began with me thinking that all those MP campaigns which feature a small group of heroes on a quest should have some accomodation for the actual number of humans participating.

With the campaign Unlikely Companions, there are six heroes, but the [side] on which they belong varies with the actual number of players. One player can control all six on the same side, or six players can each control one on a different side.
Of course, if you were doing it hotseat, then you could decide to do it however you want.

This technical premise is what preceeded my need to have a story to go with the heroes.

It occurs sometime in the pre–Wesnoth history and with a variant cosmogenesis. I didn't want to surround it too much with the established stuff.
All the races are renamed somewhat and their descriptions reprised to mesh with the different cosmogene. The geography is mostly unchanged, excepting similar; one example of the revisions is that there are now three small continents in place of the one “Old Continent”.

I'm so full of it. :)

It uses a novel inventory system that does not require trawling through [message] pages.

I'm opening for collaboration with those who want to help making:
  • special hero units with their new sprites and audio,
  • scenarios,
  • additional voice work for narrating the scenarios, and
  • miscellaneous tweaks to the cosmology.
